I discovered some weird underground Detroit scene... I'm not even sure that I should be using the word 'scene' without quotes, so allow me to rephrase that I discovered some weird underground Detroit 'scene.'
I am sure that there were drugs and music (loud and annoying) and if I stayed longer... there would have been some form of sexual activity. With an odd mix of underaged kids, alcohol and "hip" music - sex (in any form) was sure to happen.
It was "funk night." Which - maybe everyone already knows about. And maybe it's really cool and I've gotten really out of touch and old... but it was in an old abandoned building and there were way too many young kids there.
Needless to say, funk night was fucked up.
I didn't feel funky - but I might have caught something funky.
