Sometimes I don't like the military. Seven members of my brother's unit were killed this last week and no one in his unit can contact home until the families of the casualities are notified. This makes me very unhappy. That sense of possibilty is a tad bit overwhelming. But - no news is good news but still... I have to wait. This happens anytime there are reports of casualities on the news. You hold your breath and if you haven't heard anything in twenty-four hours... you're okay. I just vote no.
I think that John Cusack has lied to me... and now I know the meaning of unrequited. Maybe. I dont know.
Is it true that if you love someone you should give it away and if they love you - they'll come back? Granted - I can explain to people why this has is logic and that people need time to figure things out before they're ready... and if they "don't come back" then it just wasn't meant to be... And I get that if you love someone soo much - that you just want them to be happy - but shouldnt they just be happy with you? If I need to leave - and they let me go... I usually realize that I need them and want to come home... but what happens when they want to leave? And even worse - what if they don't want to come back?
I'm thinking way too much about a situation that doesnt exactly apply to anything. I'm not sure what I'm trying to prepare myself for. I have that "something bad is going to happen" feeling in my tummy.
