So today marked my first day as a COLLEGE STUDENT. I felt like a newbie walking into the room and I just kind of froze there. So I walked up to the teacher and showed him my schedule like "uhhh...am I in the right place?" Yea, thank god. So it turns out I won't be needing a film camera for this photography class because it's all been switched to digital. There's a kid in there that bought all his fucking equipment with him that day, his Canon Rebel. I was like OH GOD, I'm not gonna be able to show up this kid, haha. So the things we are going to learn about are things I already kind of know. But atleast I'll learn better usage of techniques.

We saw a girl's portfolio that took the class before and it looked like pictures I take all the time. Trees close up and from weird angles, skylines, animals. All such basic stuff. I want to travel all over the place to get good pictures. I want to go to NYC atleast once and shoot around. But we'll see as it all unfolds.

We watched this old ass video from Kodak from like the 1960s about composition. It was KIND of helpful, but for the most part, just proved to me more that I have an artistic eye. At the end of the film, the teacher pointed out that the host of the video had a lazy eye, strange for a photographer...
