Fuck me!!! Some people really do carry their brains in their arse-crack! You can explain to some people just what manic-depression (aka bi-polar disorder) is and they still manage to kick you an insult guised as a compliment. After tipping them bollocks, their recourse is to assert that you are lacking a sense of humour'. Hmmmm how easy some people can project their own inadequacies on others.
Just for the record, manic-depression isnt: a disease; catching; a reason for pity; a reason for ridicule; something to be ashamed of; something to be proud of; responsible for a persons massive amount of talent or lack of it.

I have long said that manic-depressives can recognise the condition in other within minutes of meeting them and I still stand by that. I also once said something even more stupid like manic-depressives only get along with other manic-depressives. Experience has shown me just how bloody wrong that was over the last few years (and no, two manic-depressives do not have extraordinarily great sex, it may be often and vigorous but so are the rows and sulks!) but, to be brutally honest, I do think they are the only ones that have even the remotest chance of understanding the condition.
