Tonight I showed you my true face--
I pulled back the skin and showed my disgrace.
Tonight I bared my pointed teeth
And shed my faux skin to show whats beneath.
You stared right back with reptile eyes
And cast off the last of your disguise.
You felt the same chill in the air--
For our scaly skin was totally bare.
I told you how Id lie in wait,
You told me of the flies you ate.
You showed me the sharpness of your claws,
And I opened wide my savage jaws.

A fight?--risky--neitherd take the bait,
Riskier still was the urge to mate.
For the issue of such a primal affair,
Would surly be the cause of such great despair!
