Speaking at the State Capital about fallen workers killed by drunk, high, and inattentive drivers. Two years ago I was hit by a drunk driver at over 120 mph. I have 3-7 fused in my neck, permanent nerve damage on my left side, and burning hips because I'm bone on bone in my low back. No discs. They said I wouldn't work again and yet I am. Within two months i was back on the job. Light duty of course. I refuse to give up or give in. The doctors are shocked. I will have to have back surgery at some point.
