My week in breif.
Wednesday: Worked with "little miss I want", who nearly lost me all my hours in a week till I kicked up a stink.. So instead they've punished the woman I normally work with by moving her, and sticking "Little Miss I Want" with me. Permanently. I she thinks she's getting her own way with me, she can, as my sister would say "do one."
Thursday: Long LONG day. Had to ring a paramedic for a "patient" He was fine in the end, but because he is a larger gent, we were concerned it was a broken rib. Anyway, while we were at this same call the guys Ocupational Threapist was there... Last weekend he broke 2 slings (he needs them to get from bed to wheel chair), and then was told he can't use the one they gave him on monday as a temp. Took risky for all. Also, lots of shitty converstations with office staff.
Friday: Got up, put glasses on. Arm fell off glasses. (managed to get repaired for free happily. only needed a new screw.) Gent previously mentioned still in bed. Stiff as a board. Wouldn't help self. At all. Suggested solution to problem. Got head chewed off. Later in day partner working with gets phone call from A & E (ER). Son in car accident, air lifted to A & E.... 30 miles away. She was in bits. Took her home, told office. Manager (only 23, no kids) said how it leaves us in a difficult possition and our patients in a tricky spot. Told her, in fairness I'd have done the same, and if it was my kid, and she'd have said that to me, I'd have told her to fuck off in no uncertain terms. 2 hrs later, get a phone call. Mum is in hospital too. Wet in at 3am in pain in her chest, and breathing problems (she's home now, and we know what the the problem is. She's gotta have an op to remove her gall bladder).
Ended up working with one of my bosses (same one spoke to on phone earlier in day), returned to Stuck in bed guy, now determined getting out of bed, almost in tears. Did suggest if he had a suggestion then I was willing to go for it. No joy. Anyway found out mum has come home now. Very tired...
And only half the week, cos... Well can't remember monday and tuesday. Been a long week...

sounds like my week, yesterday i finished at 4pm ws back in at 10pm home at 2am and back in at 9am this morning
