hatefulerin

Yesterday I bought some $200 jeans for 8 bucks at the thrift store. I was looking for jeans to make into cut offs, and I almost did it but then I decided to keep them as pants. Although I kind of liked the idea of defacing a pair of absurdly expensive jeans.

The other day a friend and I had a conversation about how I kind of come off as stand-offish, maybe even mean to strangers and new people, and discussed whether that was a good thing or something I wanted to change. I decided I liked that about myself, and if people thought I was a jerk it was their own fault because they don't get the joke. Last night it became evident that I need that aspect of my personality, when this annoying kid at work was talking about how great he is and I told him that someone really needed to punch him in the face. Everyone nearby laughed. Plenty of other people would have just sounded bitchy if they tried to shut that guy up. The "hateful" in hatefulerin is a beautiful thing.

Also: I bought a Nalgene bottle today. Am I returning to my filthy hippie Greener roots, or am I just sick of buying bottled water all the damn time? Is it relevant that I bought some Boca spicy fake chicken patties at the same time? Maybe I don't want to know.
