So long, journal entry from a month ago!
A lot of stuff since then. New York- too much to say, too much to type. Copious thanks to my gracious host, minimalism . Long story short- had lots of fun, had lots of drinks, met some new people, ran into some not-so-new people, made a lot of memories (because I didn't drink quite that much.
Other stuff:
Birthday- very short green dress, cupcakes in Ballard, bar in Ballard, lots of Jack and Coke/Jock and Cack, hollering at strangers because it was my birthday, some disgusting strawberry tequila nonsense ("it's like muthafuckin' liquid candy" she said), ending up half-dead on a friend's bathroom floor, and then magically getting home.

Last night- Karaoke in Seattle. Apparently I'm the Erin. Had a good time, hadn't seen Tawnya in forever, met some new people who I liked.
My friends randomly drove off to California yesterday. I called one of them earlier and he said they were a couple hours away from San Francisco. With any other people I probably would have been surprised.

Yeah, I'm clueless about the first date thing myself ... and if you take into consideration the way that she and I "met" (go back to my St. Pat's journal entry) it adds a whole other spin to it all.
