Went to the monthly comic convention at The Shrine yesterday with WeSpanTime. Spent $280 on toys! Huzzah!
Here's what I bought:
Man-Thing (the Marvel character; now stop snickering)
A Japanese Edward Scissorhands
Three DC Pocket Heroes two-packs (Hal Jordan the Green Lantern/Sinestro, Aquaman/Black Manta, and Starman/Shade)
And sixteen classic G.I. Joes! (Serpentor, B.A.T., Destro, Dr. Mindbender, two Cobra Commanders [oops...], some Russain guy, Zartan, Quick Kick, Lady Jay, Scarlett, Frostbite, Snake Eyes [the all black one!], Spirit, Colonel Courage [just 'cause the name was so stupid], and "Refrigerator" Perry. They're all loose, but have all their original accessories [okay, Zartan doesn't have his knee pads, but that's it]. And except for Frostbite and Destro, they're all the first-edition figures.)
And due to a couple acts of outright awesomeness, WeSpanTime is now officially the coolest person I know.

yea I guess in the end it'll be worth the pain but damn I hate bein a whiner and right now that seems to be all I'm doin ...ugghhh
right now my room is kinda bare all my toys are packed up can't wait to bust'em out in SD oh yea
