I love zee discothque. I love to get down. Friday night I snuck over to the SG girls night at Lennys and shook it to some 80's. I usually don't get into that but It's been so long I really needed to get out there. It's very therapeutic.

I'm noticing that I can bring my self to appreciate or even enjoy any genre of music. I've thought about it and I could even get down to a good polka. I'm not kidding. It has an insane quality that I'm strangely drawn too. I could just see my self dancing arm in arm and kicking in the air to "I don't want her you can have her she's too fat for me". sporting some homo-erotic lederhosen while pounding some beers.

Not to say everything is great. Most of my music is stuff I've picked off of college radio or internet and I find that 85% of bands have only one good song.

There's is one genre I just cant abide. NEW AGE. One day this guy I do freelance for asked me to add some music to a cd presentation I was doing for him and suggested that I just find what's hot in new age. I listened to random tracks in borders for about 15 minutes and started to convulse and twitch like a worm in a frying pan. puke

So what can you not stand?

It was so great to see you the other night!smile I agree with you about the therapeutic quality of dancing. All the girls told your woman how lucky she is that you like to! I'm not so sure about the polka and lederhosen, though.wink

I guess the type of music I really can't stand is country-pop or even most new country music. It's all twangy and cheesy.puke New Age is pretty bad, though; my brother got all of those "Pure Moods" cd's a while ago and we tease him mercilessly about it.biggrin

Polka is quite good. I've gotten down to it many times myself - must be the accordian.

Are you gonna get a perm now?

I really don't like 99.7 fm. They always say new rock first and then play some STP song from 1994. Assholes.
