Yesterday I had my first taste of Mountain Dew in 8 years. We could get it here for about six months and then (while i was in america and drinking it by the crate load) they withdrew it. So I bought some from an importer and damn, I'd forgotten how much I love it. This is a possible explanation as to why I was so keen to go see the Mountain of Jews when I was in Barcelona (how Freudian is that!?).
I graduate tomorrow. I think it might be one of those end of an era moments. What happens next is much more in my hands. Even more so in three years, when I finish my PhD (fingers crossed touch wood). A slight frustration is just how much stuff you have to buy or rent for the purpose of graduation (and the graduation ball... and my friends wedding, but that's a different matter). Bah. As long as I don't fall off the stage I'm sure it'll be a great day. Also, my parents are taking me to a really posh restaurant in the evening.
My friends' cat is having kittens and I'm house sitting for them while they're on Holiday. I think possibly this will help me make up my mind about whether I want a cat or not.
