Short update.
I'm halfway through my exams. Three down, three to go. The first went okay (despite a really unfair indepth question about the iPod), the second went fantastically and the third I'm slightly worried about, as I know I missed some stuff I really shouldn't have.
As soon as my exams finish, I need to find a way of putting a stop to the waste of resources which the unused half of my double bed represents.
Also, we had the interview for the summer competition yesterday and didn't get in. Which is a really kick in the nuts. I now have to find something else to do over the summer... I think I have the option of staring my PhD early... but since I'll be doing it for the next 3 years, I'm not sure if I want that. The only other choice might be to get a shit job, however, and that doesn't really appeal.
Voted today. Which is good, because it (hopefully) means the sodding candidates will stop bothering me now. And I heard from a lovely Canadian I hadn't spoken to in a very long time a couple of days ago, which was fantastic.

there was a question on your exam about an ipod? kwazee. what are you wanting to get your PhD in? im assuming that you're in grad school currently? i'm hoping to start grad school in a couple of years.
