I went to a couple of afterhours parties this weekend. It was a good time because I hadn't been out to a proper afterhours party, other than the newspaper's 50th entertainment column party in August, in a long time. You can read about it in one my past journal entries from August.
I went over to this girl's house this afternoon and watched a movie. It was a little bit weird. I'm not sure what is exactly going on with this friendship. Confusing.
Hopewell and Goldrush are playing BJs on Tuesday. Hopewell is a band made up of guys who used to be in Mercury Rev. Goldrush are from England and played here a couple of years ago. They even brought along Mark Gardner from Ride to sing a song. Mark was the frontman for Ride. They used to fill stadiums in the early 90s in England when shoegazing was all the rage.
