It's been one crazy week. First off there was the house show on Monday night. Then a couple of days of going out because it is summer. Finally, I saw Dan Friel of Parts & Labor play in Jamestown on Thursday night. It's just Dan and his old keyboard plus a bunch of effects pedals. His music is this totally happy blending of noise into songs. It's amazing. It's also amzing watching him operate the keyboard and pedals to recreate the songs. To top it all off, both he and his girlfriend are super nice people. This has actually turned into a pretty decent summer for shows with Dianogah, The Body, Deerhunter and Dan Friel.



Too bad summer is over. I have to get ready for college classes since they start in eight days.
