This week has been a damn long one. I've been at work far too much due to some people being off and things being rescheduled by the weather. The funny thing is that Buffalo got buried by all the snow from a freak lake effect storm and my area got nothing. It's been 50 and sunny here the last few days. Buffalo has the same temperature, only a bunch of snow and downed trees to deal with. The only difference was the Thursday night storm, which missed us. I'm hoping to go to see Xiu Xiu tomorrow night, but I don't know yet what is going on. I'm thinking it should be a go because the roads are clear and the club is very near downtown.
I think the only thing that really made me happy this week was going to see Chin Up Chin up Mohawk Place Tuesday night. I had to work and I said I would go if I got done by about 10 PM. I finished up at 10:30 instead, but I decided to go anyway. I got there just as Chin Up Chin Up were getting ready. Now that I have the CD, I'm bummed I missed the Oxford Collapse, but that's OK. CU CU were so good. It was all bouncy and happy. The new CD is great. I'm so glad I made the trip, even if it was kinda retarded to go to Buffalo so late and for such a short amount of time.
