I saw A Silver Mt. Zion last night. Lucky for a me a friend works at the clubhouse and held a ticket for me. He said there were only three left after mine. It was a good show and it joins the ranks of Modest Mouse, Sleater - Kinney and Yo La Tengo by only having one band on the bill. The band was really good, much better than on CD. The new songs sounded great. I always liked God Speed You Black Emperor! better, but this was a wprthy effort. It might be off to Dinosaur Jr tomorrow night. We shall see.
