Thanksgiving came and went. I got to see my friends who were back in town some. I sort of feel like I'm growing apart from them, like we're interested in different things now. I also saw this girl I had a crush on, but hadn't seen in two years. She took me out for dinner. I still think I spent most of the time hanging out with locals I see every day.

Work is going to be super busy this week. The paper does a high school basketball special section and I'm going to be running around getting pictures for that. It wouldn't have been so bad, but our sister paper had the brilliant idea of having the schools send in team pictures. That shit does not work and it's why they suck worse than we do. The other paper isn't even doing preview stories on the teams, so the sports department here is slammed. I don't mind doing it, it would have been better if we could have been working on it over the last few weeks, instead of rushing to finish up by the end of the week.

I dropped off my application for a foundations/printmaking professor position at the local college today. My application is pretty crappy.
