I felt out of it all of this weekend. Like anywhere I was, I should have been someplace else. I did get to see from who now live in Brooklyn on Saturday night. Their band played the hippie bar and then we went to an attempt at an afterhours. It didn't happen, so we sat on this girl's porch drinking warm beer until she showed up. She actually bought the house from the bass player in the band. It was where he lived before moving to NYC and she had been renting, but now she owns it. She showed us around the house and that was the end of the night. Excitement.

I went out for a beer tonight. Nothing was going on. I watched a lot of TV and slept all day. I needed to escape for a little bit.

The girl I like at work and I are only going to be friends. I knew that is how it would end up. She was very honest about telling me and I'm happy that she did. I probably didn't have any business asking her out in the first place. I don't know. I'm feeling a little down.
