I went to Buffalo to see Six Organs Of Admittance play on Monday night. Ben Chasney did the electric guitar freakout thing. He had a drummer and a bass player to back him up, too. It was pretty neat. Hush Arbor opened and it was one guy with a beard and acoustic guitar. It was very gentle. Then the guy moved to bass for Six Organs. I find it interesting that gentle guitar folk and a loud noisey racket blend together so well. Odd.
