Well I made a concerted effort not to buy myself anything this christmas....so that it wouldnt be so diofficult for others to buy their xmas present for me, but as always it was absolute torture going into Megatunes and not getting anyhting specifically for me, no seriously I was litterally exhausted.
Though I guess I deserve it for not buying myself any CD's for so long.
I shall CD splurge after the new year...or should I say new pay check to be exact..............

I think American Beauty is supposed to be a critique of consumerism because of the wife's disgusting attitudes. They give the example in the book of the scene where the husband and wife might be renewing their interest in one another when she kills the mood by telling him not to spill beer on the expensive couch. I don't really think it is though, especially since Spacy's character just replaces yuppie consumption with teenage consumption. Oh well.

texture quality! my textures look like clumpy mud compared to yours. the crispness of the colours and clean edges tipped me off, though if it was reduced in size a lot i guess that accounts for the overall aliaslessness (new word!).
