Just a day off full of contemplation...
So, my friend with the heart problems back in Saskatoon doesn't want me to come out and see him - but if his other friend in Calgary (who is also my best friend out here) can come down and see him...
My Calgary friend was as speachless about this as I was!
I had a "difference of opinion" with my ailing friend over a business idea two years ago. I suggested mods to his basic business model to increase raw profit over 40% by increasing ad revenue. He had a bad case of "not invented here," and in the end the idea went no where. I guess I didn't take the rejection well, and in the end we stopped talking over it...
I figured since he was dead for 15 minutes before being revived,
and that he is now waiting for a quadruple bypass that we'd call a truce - I guess not. 
Just goes to show that times of crisis do not always bring out the best in people...
... on the other hand, maybe he is on some excellent meds, and he might not be thinking clearly now...

that sucks about your friend, meds serisouly do messed things to people. Did you see how crazy that guy got on survivor when he fell in the fire and had to be flown out?
