Man, I love the ability to create. I surrounded myself with scrapbooking
stuff, decided I didn't feel like it, and took an old pair of pants and
some yarn out of the closet. Made myself a vampire gingerbread doll and
a hand, that when I stuff it, I'll make a rock hand out of. I love that.
Being able to pick up a pencil and draw manga, grabbing a pen and
writing a song, pasting ribbon to papers and creating a scrapbook,
piercing fabric with needle and making a fun doll. Perhaps for future
generations? I've even initialed and dated them all. So if my kids,
grandkids, need to sell some early 2000 folk crafts sometime down the
line to pay for gas, it'll be here for that.
But I'm tired now.
