And just today, I found out the the president has congratulated Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie for giving Michael Vick another shot. As a dog owner himself, the president should be appalled. While yes, I do believe in second chances, I think the offender should show some real remorse and Vick hasn't spent ONE second trying to mend what he broke! If the Eagles make the Super Bowl this year, I will not watch it. Brett Favre was fined $50,000 today for sexting. An act between 2 consenting adults, which is not doing any sort of harm to anyone, while Michael Vick is awarded a $1.5 million dollar roster bonus this year. Good thing the NFL has its priorities straight. People need to be held accountable for their actions and the punishment should fit the crime. As far as I am concerned, someone should do to Michael Vick EXACTLY what he did to all of those dogs.

They took in most of his dogs and have done and absolutely amazing job with the rehabilitation and adoption of most of them. They have also vowed to keep the ones deemed "too Dangerous" or "unadoptable" at their rescue for the remainder of their lives! So kudos to them and all of their hard work and dedication. Also... The National Geographic Channel has a documentary on these dogs if you're interested! It was really good! I have a soft spot in my heart for Georgia and Meryl!
