A diamond in the grass followed me to the river. It caught hold of my mind and wouldn't let go. When i saw that beautiful child at the river it was the diamond i thought of.
I should have paid more attention to that beautiful little girl; she spoke softly and smelled of jasmine and fresh air.
I do remember how her gaze made my skin warm and when i turned from the river that diamond was on my mind and the taste of the jasmine smell lingered on my tongue.
