Hey, sorry for not updating in awhile; been really busy with work and haven't really had a chance.
I'm now convinced that waiting is one of those jobs that just always makes you feel incompetant whenyou first begin but it is getting better at least. I'm really enjoying my job at the bookstore in comparison to the stress fest of of waiting, though I doubt I'll make any money at the bookstore job since I'm buying so many damn books...got one that gives me something interesting to do everyday for a year; I'm already on discretely giving people the finger all day tommorow =).
I also found out a friend from back in high school's been arrested though. Apparently he blacked out while holding his 8 month old son and woke to find the child dead. He buried the chiled in his backyard but ended up turning himself in the next day out of guilt. The prosecution's gonna try to pin him with premeditiation but I really don't buy that, since if I had to describe the guy I would have said he was very very calm and laid back.
So I also tried getting drunk for the first time last night, I managed not to do anything completely idiotic while inebriated. I wasn't a terribly big fan of it though, I think I may just not have liked the Everclear with pink lemonade, next time I shall try starting with the Schmirinov and Mountain Dew which I liked a lot better. I am still determined to get utterly smashed at least once in my life sometime. I think I should do it either with total strangers or with a group of just guys though considering my apparently impaired judgement while under the influenece.
And now I really need to get contacts or new glasses since I brilliantly stepped on my old pair playing DDR drunk, go me =/.
I think I'll head down to the coast for a few days to visit friends during Thanksgiving, see what they've been up to.
