This woman is my new crush.




I saw Brazilian Girls live last night (FINALLY) and it was, hands down, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I danced my ass off; they were incredibly lively and interactive and god, the whole damn band was hot. She (the singer, Sabina Sciubba) reminded me a lot of bjork just in the way she dressed; I can't even really describe what she was wearing, but look her up on google if you want to see some of her crazy outfits that she wears to shows.

They are lovely lovely. Now I have the Animal Collective concert to look forward to next month (the day after my 21st birthday!) and a day at the Sasquatch Festival, which will be brilliant! I'll be seeing the following bands: Bjork, The Arcade Fire, Manu Chao, M.I.A., Neko Case, Citizen Cope, Ozomatli, The Hold Steady, The Saturday Knights, Mix Master Mike, Grizzly Bear, Ghostland Observatory, Electrelane, Two Gallants, Loney, Dear, The Slip, Aziz Ansari, Aqueduct, Mirah, Visqueen, The Blow, Viva Voce, Gabriel Teodros, and Blitzen Trapper, not to mention two awesome comedians, Sarah Silverman and Michael Showalter. Of course I probably won't see ALL of the bands playing that day as there are three separate stages so I'll have to manage my time well, but I'll see a lot of bands for a damn good ticket price at a beautiful venue (The Gorge in Washington) and I just can't fucking wait! I love love love live music
