So, I'm back. Can't say I have kept up with this blog as much as I originally meant to. So what's new with me? Nothing much really, just trying to get into the Christmas spirit this year. It was always so much easier when we were kids to do so. Maybe I will buy some candy canes, watch some good Christmas movies and snuggle up in my Joe Boxer Santa style robe and hat. I really hope to catch that magical feel once again that Christmas used to hold when I was much younger. It seems the older we get, the more we lose that and I mean to try and get that back.
In other news, totally unrelated in any way, I have been watching American Horror Story. When I first heard the premise of the show, basically a haunted house story with and erotic twist I figured the show could go either way. Either it could be nice, creative and something I would enjoy, or something cliched, unoriginal and would fail to impress me. I have to say I really enjoy the series so far! I have even gotten other people to watch it by talking about it. I have really been wanting a good new TV show to watch. I haven't had one in a while, but this one seems like it's gonna keep going strong
. Each and every episode has little moments that I really enjoy for whatever reason, but for spoilers sake I will not discuss them here. If anyone actually reads my blogs and they watch the show, feel free to PM me and discuss. I am current caught up with the show at this time.
Somewhat related, but only in the media sense is my next topic. I am SO FREAKING EXCITED about the movie for The Adventures of TIn TIn. I have to say, though still wary of it, the previews look as if they will do the comics justice We can only hope. As a kid I religiously watched the cartoon, I own all the comics that were generally released in America and have read them through many times each. It is a strong part of my childhood and I hope they really make it's big screen release worth it .
