Been awhile since I posted. Had a crazy couple weeks trying to get all this homework done. But I did. Things are going good on the school front. I had a meeting with a counselor on Monday to look at my classes and figure out what exactly I need to transfer. My last couple of counselor appointments were very unproductive. This one was great. She was very informative, pointed out that several classes that were on my academic plan were not needed. The other counselors don't seem to know the difference between "recommended" and "required". So I got 4 classes taken off my schedule. She also took a look at my transcripts from when I went to Bible College 10 years ago (yes, I used to be that religious) and pointed out that several of my classes from there may be transferable to my 4 year university even though they are not accepted at my 2 year. So she sent an email out to a friend in admissions at the college I am looking to transfer to. I should hear back soon. It might take 3 more classes off my list.

On another note...my pool league ended last night. I ended up shooting one of the 3 highest ranked shooters in our league and I beat him. It was a great game. Felt good to end the season on a high note. I qualified for our sectional MVP tournament (top 7 from each ranking tier qualify from our league). It's my second time qualifying, last time I lost my first match, then watched as one of the guys from my league who I dominated went on to win it. I think I have a good chance this season now that I know what to expect.

Time to get more HW done.
