Had fun last night at the burlesque show. It was cool to see my friend get out of her shell and have some fun. She did a tremendous job. It's a good night when you can have a few drinks and watch beautiful women of all shapes and sizes shake their booties.
Woke up this morning and got some homework done. Now I still have about 40 pages to read tonight in this book for my English class. We are reading Bastard Out of Carolina. It's an amazingly written book from the perspective a young girl growing up while being physically and sexually abused in South Carolina during the 50's and 60's. I'm about halfway through it. It's tough to read emotionally because the author is very graphic in describing what happens. Well...back to reading.
