Hmmm, its been a while since I one of these here journal entries. I'm not much of a talker, online or in rl, so I go through spurts of silence where I keep things to myself. I haven't been gone, just quiet. It's hard to visit this page when sites with naked women are sort of frowned upon at work. When its slow I'm allowed to play games, download and watch movies, whatever. A flash of some womens nipple, though, and I get yelled at.
I'm on the lookout for a new job anyway. I'm moving towards 30 and its time for me to start looking for a job with a future. The big roadblock is school. I need to go back to catch up with the tech advances thats happened since I left school. I'm not looking forward to that
.
There's changes that need to be done in my life. Its become stagnant and boring. Its more stable now, but still boring, I'm too young to be stuck in a rut like this. I blame drugs. As in I went completely cold turkey around January. It needed to be done, I was developing health problems. I started getting panic attacks for no reason, I even hyperventilated (sp?) and passed out at one of my friends house. That was kinda scary, I've never passed out before.
I don't see my friends much anymore. They all live far away and the main thing we did together was get high and hang out. Its not as much fun anymore when you're the only sober one of the group.
I've developed a bunch of friends online since the sobering. The internet is a funny thing. When I explain to people who don't know much about the internet that I have bunches of friends that I met online they think I'm crazy. They can't grasp the concept of befriending someone you've never met face to face. Last Spring about 30 something of us got together in Vegas and partied over the weekend. Its a weekend I'll never forget and if it wasn't for the internet I would have never met any of them. We are trying to make it an annual thing. We're all a bunch of video gamer / ren fest / anime type dorks, 30 of us together in one place is alot of concentrated weirdness .
Now to completely change subjects. Fall is here! I love Fall. I always liked the inbetween seasons better than winter and summer. The chill air and warm sun, there's a feeling or a smell or something about spring/fall that makes me happy.
Alright, I'm gonna stop typing now. My mind is starting to wander and its taking too long to finish this thing. If anyone reads this and makes it down to the bottom, say hi if I'm online. I won't bite, really, I'm a smartass but not too dangerous. Oh, also, I got a camera over the summer. My very first one ever. I never even bought a disposable one before this. Time to put a picture of my ugly mug online for all to see.
