If you want to find out about Lovejoy, the books are written by Jonathan Gash, and the first one he wrote in the series is the Judas Pair. There are some VHS tapes available of some of the episodes released for the US market, they are English English with some slang and if you are not used to it, you will either have to listen carefully or miss some of the meanings, but after a while you pick it up
