My grandpa died this morning.......
He had cancer for like 7 years. I guess I am sad. But I feel like I have such a firm grip on the realities of death and suffering. I feel more releived than sad. Sometimes the only way that people can get rest it to die. I'm very at peace with his death. There are some deaths that you just can't feel "right" with. You know if someone is really young or is killed bt some senseless act. But my grandpa was old (79) and he was married for over 50 years to a woman who loved him and took care of him to the end. He had 3 great sons (one of them being my father). He had 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren (2 of them are mine). Things just seemed so right to be the end for him. But up untill the end he never quit fighting..........
