I'm in a really sad mood A patient That I've known for about 2 years now is back in the hospital and it's very possible that she will die. Her name is Jenna and she is 19. She had lukimia and then she got something called Gillian Barre syndrome. It's and auto immun disease wich makes the body attack itself. She was left unable to walk or even lift her own head. But she fought back and was eventually able to walk again. She was just planning her future ( to go to college) and her cancer came back. Soon after that she got an infection and became septic. She is now in the Peds ICU. She's intibated and in a drug induced coma. It's just so hard to see a patient who was so viberant and so strong be forced to be so weak.
