I was recenlty charged with 2 counts of DUI after side swiping two parked cars on Sunday. I spent Sunday night in the drunk tank getting served my mind eating dogshit for food for dinner. Imagine yourself in an 8x10 bright white cell, with a room mate who won't shut up about how fucked up it is the his girlfrend made false accussations about domestic abuse and got him locked up. All of a sudden I'm a lawyer and know all that legal shit. There was a slit in the door way for natural light to come through otherwise, no clock or anything aside from lying in the hard metal cot and using the toilet to pass the time. I was in there 8 hours but, it felt like twice that long. And then when I got out, they wouldn't give me time to put on my shoe laces or my belt before shoving me outside. Lesson learned: Do not drink and drive! It could have been worse for me, I could have hurt or killed somebody even so, a night in lock up really sucked and set me straight.
