Yesterday my niece, Ember, who is almost 2 and a half now, was over for a visit. She is so curious about everything. She found a roll of chapstick on my dresser and proceeded to put some on me, then herself, then me, then herself, then me....before long we both had chapstick all over our faces. We then played on the piano for a little while and thumbed through magazines ooohing and ahing and laughing at the pictures. At one point I had to answer the phone, when I got back she had emptied most of the kitchen cabinets, dried rice, pasta, plastic baggies everywhere. Then it was time to take her back home and as usual she played her little game of "if you want to put my shoes back on you have to catch me first." Man,if only I could bottle some of the enrgy she's got maybe I'd finally get my checkbook balalnced
