Netflix came the other day and I watched House of Shadows and Fog starring Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley. From the get go, I was on Ben's side while I never really liked Jennifer's character but towards the end I felt a little sorry for her. This is a movie I trully recommend seeing especially considering the time we are living in with the war in Iraq, post-9/11 terrorism fears etc. It all centers around the awful consequences that arise when both sides of a conflict refuse to back down creating a harsh snowball of events where no one wins. It's an obvious message, but the director still does a fantastic job of presenting it in a very beautiful way.

anyways, the strange point of my whole complaining journal entry is that i'm really thankful for the sweet ways that people have been so gentle and cool with me on this site lately. i have been just loving all the great comments. good stuff!

so, what i want to know is, what's your latest treat from netflix? we have two movies from them just waiting to get watched, but when my brother was in town he bought us a copy of South Park Season 7 and goldurnit i've been sucked in!
