I just read that Pat Morita, otherwise known as Mr. Miyagi, Daniel-san's karate teacher in The Karate Kid passed away. I also remember when he replaced Al on Happy Days. I grew up watching Pat Morita on the television and the silver screen the same with Christopher Reeve who passed away some time ago. When I was in elementray school, I had a few birthday parties where we went to go see the latest Superman movie which fortunately always came out around that time. I only liked the first Karate Kid movie but, I always liked Mr. Miyagi, he seemed like an awesome teacher to learn Karate and the martial arts philosophy from. These guys were a part of my youth and I will always remember them fondly.
