Wow. Life has been pretty good lately. It's nice to just sit back and take it all in. Let's hope that the good times decide to stick around. My birthday is coming up. How rare is it to have your birthday on a Friday? I'm excited for all the possibilities for trouble. Hopefully I can stir up some spare coin to blow on a kickass jetboat.

I think I'm going to make a summer compilation 2004 volume two. The first one fared pretty well in the murky waters of sharing. It seems imperfect to me but all the while addicting. I have so many new cd-r to burn and mail though. It seems like a waste to just let them sit there.

I have another new tattoo idea. It's sick and secret. The much maligned inkery is coming all at once. My brother-in-law is on the hunt for a good place in Berkeley for us to go together. I'm setting aside my secret savings for September when I'll be there. Mmm.. good times. Male bonding and sheet..

Eh, the blues fest was okay. Since we weren't there on the very last day, the big names like Johnny Lang weren't playing until Monday, but there were a couple of the artists that I liked. This one woman, Ruthie Foster, had a wonderful mix of blues, gospel, and a little bit of reggae. It was just her and another woman on their guitars, so it was a quiet set, but both had powerful, soaring voices.

Yay for tattoo ideas! I've never noticed if you have any tattoos already. Do you?
