So... I remembered my own rule a little too late: never try to find a cute sweater in cute sweater season. Alas, no such luck in BC (so far). Though I did find a "real man shirt"... with snaps. Yay.
I don't mean to sound like I'm rubbing anything in, but yesterday was a lot of fun. There was some hyper-fast ninja record shopping ($80 in 15 minutes). Later, Eddie, angelvanilla, fenris23 and I hung out and drank some yummy vegan white russians. It would have been better if New Deal had been around (they confiscated my supply in Portland). How sad. The night ended with some burlesque and an after-party at a house in BC. We met Rin too, which was rad. She was one of the very first friends I made on SG! It was a very productive day.
Today we're heading out again. There's going to be some more hanging out, some coffee, a trip to Brokeback Mountain.

You remember the discussion about super powers. You wanted giant leathery bat wings etc. I've given it much thought. My super power would be incredibly good luck. Un-ebbing incredibley good luck. I would win every time I played the lottery, anyone I met would be wonderful and we would enjoy each others company immensly, I could drive a car until the tank ran dry- and as soon as I started to hitch a ride someone would show up with a tank of gas for free. That kind of thing beats any other super power ever.
