I feel so Portland today. I taught myself The Soldiering Life and have been doing my best slow core version of it. It's a fun song to take down to it's slowest bit. I can even do my best faux-british Colin Meloy impression. Dedication.

Tomorrow brings about another day of work. My first in almost two weeks, and the beginning of my last month at this old job. These boots were made for walking. The world seems so wide open to possibilities this winter. Leaving a job of five years is like opening Pandora's Box, but letting all the beauty in the world out. Yet, instead of hope left, there's the possibility of boredom. I think I may get a job at a coffee shop or a bar. It would be amazing to be able to meet new people and form new connections. This city is too small for how large it feels sometimes.
