It's getting to be about the time to do something big. You know, in case of a meteor, or a miracle. Not that I know what the big things are. You only get to see them in retrospect. Something big is probably happening right now. I'm too out of tune to notice.
I've decided it's good to see my friends happy. It's a strange kind of reward that I'm not use to. There have been so many smiles around me lately. It feels contagious (somewhat).
The snow in PDX wasn't a shock. It actually made me laugh a little bit, to see it close down the city (again). Some things don't change. It got me out of a day of work, and right into a new one. Fair is fair I suppose.
I'm exhausted and housesitting at a place I use to live. I wish I were at home. This place use to feel so inviting and now it feels like a prison. I have to stay dry and warm. Those big puddles outside are too inviting for a good stomping. But there's no way to clean or dry my clothes here. I need the bulk of them for work tomorrow.
