KyoTe and I have been having a bit of a rough time, neither of us are employed, and my college fund ran out two months ago. We got an eviction notice a couple days ago, but I wrote our landlord a letter, explaining our finanical situation, and he gave us a hundred bucks, paperwork for different welfare type organizations, and a letter saying he could give us until the first of January, but that after that he'd have to continue with the eviction.
He was really kind, and I have no doubt that he's probably the nicest landlord in the word. And, it's things like this that give me hope for humanity, you know? That make all the power-hungry political assholes worth dealing with, all the racism, sexism, and homophobia. Just simple acts of kindness, make me so proud to be human.
We don't know what we're going to do, but I missed y'all too much to miss out on a chance to come back. Just thought I'd update everyone who was wondering how I've been doing.
