Alright, my first ever blog entry! How do you start these things? I guess by a brief "how do you do"?
I'm 24, from small town BC. I studied Theatre at UVic and moved home after a bad relationship. I partied a lot, got into more trouble that I should have been able to considering where home is. Joined derby, gained confidence, met a great guy.
We had a string of shit luck (3 miscarriages, 2 car accidents, 1 house fire) plus a death in his family and parents getting sick. So we're stressed. My brain kinda snapped. We're really trying to work it out.
I'm feeling really down right now. My main goal is figuring out how to be happy, and I'm open to suggestions!
I have an awesome dog, Cash, who makes sure I get out and stay fit. I'm getting into mountain biking. I'm really really trying to be happy.
I guess that's all I have to say for now... I'll just attach another picture of myself and call it a day.

You must be a tough girl if you're a derby girl. What position do you play?

I held the inside line or was jammer helper or killer. I ended up having to quit the season early because of everything that happened. Hopefully I'll go back next season
