Anyone who has seen someone have a mental breakdown understands the seriousness of such an event.
Having one occur in your place of work is even more traumatic.
Well yesterday I had the misfortune of witnessing just such an event. Details are not important, What is important is the moment you realize that there are people in positions of power who have no sympathy for others.
These individuals are reckless and inconsiderate they react to the sorrow and frustration of others with the same child-like joy they probably felt when they used to torture small animals in their backyards.
There is nothing funny about someone pushed by others into hating their job.
No reason to laugh when an individual has put their time and effort into making the workplace fair and effective only to be undermined and stifled to the point that they snap and their resolve disintegrates right in front of you and about 100 strangers.
No reason at all.
But that's the thing about unreasonable people.
