Well the girl is still with us. Her mom is extremely pissed. I expressed to her that my only intention is to have the girl stay here while her & her mom get counseling. Counseling starts tomorrow but there's just something about her mom that makes me believe she's defeated and despises me for it.
You see 3 years ago this kind of thing happened. Her dad was trying to keep the girl with him because there was allegations about the step father sexually abusing her. Well the mom took it to court and won sole custody. Now she's in a legal battle with me and she's losing in every direction she takes. The police sent her home with me. The family court will not allow her to get a runaway warrant because her where abouts are known. She's tried to have me arrested for custodial interference. That hasn't worked.
It's very sad because her mom is so cold! She only treats her as a possession. It's sad! It really is!
