fuck. that's about all i can say right now.

this guy has always been a huge influence on me, if only for his outrageousness and his insistence on playing blues licks in a non-blues genre.

i've always held that i would put whatever stickers on my other guitars, but the dime would stay clean. now, i've changed that.

someone affiliated with sin's metal news made this image and sometime this or next week i'll have scott or jake make one up in vinyl for me so i can put it on my axe.


last ngiht and tonight i've finished my evenings playing pantera riffs on my acoustic and the dime. this is my avatar on xanga and a few other places as well.


shredding tears for a fallen hero, a fallen idol. why such good humans being are lost and so many more deserving of death live on is beyond me. rest in peace, brother in arms, fellow guitarist.

if there was a god, and they traded licks, i guarantee dimebag would be the better of the two. that's how fucking good of a guitarist we all lost on wednesday.

i'm also saddened because on wednesday i played an open mic night with scott and james and i think we played the worst we've ever been. some tribute, but i guess i didn't know about it then.
