iffy
yeah, so this will be brief.
on xanga, i have a blog. from this blog, i run a blogring.
here is my blogring.
on my blogring there are, as of this entry, three hundred fifty-one members.
of those members, including myself, there are maybe three who know who the hell minor threat is.
the rest seem to be all "i think taking back sunday is the most amazing creative force in music. evar!" or the like. sad.
the other bit that pisses me off is the sheer, sad number of kids (literally) whose "sXe 4 life" comes with "jesusXcore" right after it. i'm a member of another ring called "straight edge is secular" which i believe very strongly. i don't htink religion should be a defining factor in straight edge. i just think that a decision to live a clean and in-control life is more for yourself than for some imaginary being.
also, on an aside, seeins as most all religious devotees seem to be unable to cope without the "help" of "god," doesn;t that make religion a crutch? ah well, not gonna push that one, make a lot of enemies that way. it is for another time, ithink.
anyway, this may well be the first truly serious post on here. i usually just use my xanga when i want to express, except i get tired of having afterthoughts and like 3 posts a night. so i might be going around to my livejournal and here as well, seeins as i have them and all, to post afterthoughts. i dunno.
also, i think i like having the preferences and the updating separate.
yeah.
ok, goodnight all two of you.
[SPECIAL-EDit]: (oop, my bad. checked the "straight edge is secular XXX" ring for some info and saw a username "themooneysuzuki" and it reminds me of an interview with them, i think it was in AP (which is going to shit btw) about how they had SONGWRITERS for their big debut album. the matrix. whoohoo. they wrote avril;s album and now they write this. blah. stupid people writing other peoples' music. the mooney suzuki can officially eat me for that one.)
