yes. the show was ok. i didnt fuck up pillars or every breath you take, but i killed blitzkrieg bop and for whom the bell tolls. well, lyrically i killed for whom... but i totally massacred blitzkrieg bop. i think i had test anxiety in school because i was smarter than everyone but my testing was the opposite. and so now it manifests itself when i play a song for the first time, and i fuck it up. except pillars, but i really ultra sooper wanted that to go off without a hitch, and so it did.
i played anoriginal song that i've never sung for a crowd before, and it seems to include notes of a register that i just can't reach. so i kinda screeched and howled them as worst i could and hoped nobody got offended.
then another band also played for whom the bell tolls, so since i dedicated the song to them in the first place, the dedicated theirs to me. it was fun. they were better bu then againt hey have a whole band and better guitar players, so it's a given.
i know i shouldnt be so down on myself btu i know i had a lot more than what i managed tonight. next saturday i will redeem myself. *sigh*
