today i recorded my backing tracks for saturday's show. took fewer takes than i anticipated, that's good.
i've decided to add to the set for saturday only. in honor of johnny ramone passing (and thusly, the two fathers of punk rock as we know it, gone...) i sequenced blitzkrieg bop tonight, last minute. i even wrote a second guitar part which doesn't toally suck, nor does it detract attention from the simplicity of the song, just a harmony in power chords based on the vocal harmonies in the chorus.
so that will get play saturday and probably never again. reason being: the dwellers also play that song, and i know if osmoene else busted out with message in a bottle, not only would i be upset, i;d then mop the floor with their version whomever it should be (except the police, of course. stewart is GOD and i could never outdo him).
yeah. so that's about it. jalapeno poppers are fuggin awesome and a half. as are 20 pc mc nuggets from mcdonald's with the hot mustard sauce. yum yum yum.
and also on the food thought, how about mesquite flavored peanuts. O.M.F.G!!!

edited to include the notion that Tash happens to be an exact body double for my last ex girlfriend, but with her mom's tits on her (not coinicdentally, the tits she always wished for but didn't quite get). i need more than five fave SGs on here.

i love mick-e-dees too. Nope, it is just her and her drummer. That's it. I've never seen anyone else play with her. Doing it cheap doesn't mean bad. Some of my favorite songs I still listen to are old 4-track ones recorded in a bedroom or basement somewhere ....good stuff. have a great show!! i'm going to see an all girl ac/dc cover band (AC/CShe). Oh friggen yeah!
